Coach Bus New Jersey Tips: Making Sure You Got the Perfect Driver

Here’s a checklist:
1. Did driver get enough sleep? One of the most important things to ask – and you can only hope the driver gives you the honest answer – is whether he had enough sleep the night before the trip. If he says he slept for three hours and assures you that that’s enough for him, you might want to ask for a replacement driver. You wouldn’t want one who’ll be sleeping on the job.
2. No running on a red light. If your driver runs your charter bus in New Jersey even on a red light, that’s enough reason for you to call STOP and demand for a replacement driver from the bus company. Or if asking for a replacement is already impossible, you can call the driver’s attention and ask him never to do that again. The driver should know that it’s not okay with you and this should tell him he needs to be more careful for the rest of the trip. Because really, how can you expect him to be responsible and reliable when he can’t even follow basic traffic rules? Even kindergarteners know that a red light means stop.
3. Check overall appearance and behavior. If you are considerably early and you still have time while waiting for others to arrive, do engage your driver in a little conversation. We’re not really telling you to judge him right away, but do assess his level of professionalism in the way he talks to you. Is he polite and does he talk to you with utmost respect and courtesy? Is he dressed neatly and decently? These may be superficial appearances and behavior we’re talking about and others might find it stereotypical, but our impressions based on these should never be disregarded. After all, we’re talking about the safety of everyone involved.
