The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum has its own collection of American art, European art, Japonisme, Russian art, and Soviet non-conformist art that visitors can enjoy. They also have the Schimmel Rare Book Library for those who love rare books and literary materials.
The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday to Friday, and from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. on weekends. The museum charges $6 for adult visitors and $5 for senior citizens, and offers free admission for children below 18. On the first Sunday of every month, all visitors can get in for free.

The Old Barracks Museum is one of the country’s most important historic sites and one of the most visited in the state. The Old Barracks is the last of colonial barracks authorized by the colony in the mid-1700s to house soldiers who fought during the French and Indian War.
The Old Barracks stands as the last remaining colonial structure of its kind and now serves as an educational center for American and Colonial history. It offers walk-in tours, group tours, walk-ins and even group room rentals. The Old Barracks Gallery offers exhibits of its collection of antiques and artifacts that relate to Colonial New Jersey and the American Revolution.
The Old Barracks is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Rates are: $8 - adults; $6 - senior citizens and students 6 years old and above; free admission - children 5 years old and below.
