The NJ Adventure Aquarium is one of the country’s largest aquariums, housing 8,500 aquatic creatures. It is also the only aquarium in the world that showcases hippos and one of two in the U.S. that houses a Hammerhead Shark. The NJ Adventure Aquarium offers hand-on touch experiences, where visitors can touch and hand-feed gentle stingrays and touch sharks, jellyfish, turtles, penguins, lobsters, horseshoe crabs, shrimps and a whole lot more.

Thid touchable aquarium is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adults can get in for $22.95 and children aged 2 to 12 for $17.95. Children under 2 can get in free of charge.
