The Rankokus Indian Reservation is home to the Powhatan Renape Nation, recognized by the state as an American Indian Nation. The Powhatan is more commonly known as the tribe of Pocahontas. The reservation is a great place to visit if you have always been interested in American Indian history, beliefs, traditions, and general way of life. You can take a look at exhibits of American Indian artifacts, artworks, tools, musical instruments, weapons, clothing and decorative art at the American Indian Heritage Museum. As part of the museum tour, you will also be guided through our the outdoor re-creation of a traditional Powhatan woodland village.

Admission is as follows: $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for senior citizens, and $5.00 for children.

Northlandz holds the Guinness World Records as the largest model railroad. It will surely be a great place to take your children, as it has up to 100 trains that travel through the more than 8 miles of track, 40 foot bridges that span huge canyons, cities and villages made up of thousands of buildings, and a huge collection of dolls.

Northlandz is open daily except Tuesdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rates are: adult (13+) - $13.75, child (2-12) - $9.75, children below 2 - Free, and senior - $12.50.

If you are a nature-loving group, Duke Farms is the ideal place to go.
